Who we are.
The Orange, Mandarin and Lemon Producer Group of Stratos is a clearly defined part of the “STRATIOS ZEUS” Agricultural Cooperative of Citrus and Olive Growers of Stratos. We unite local growers around cooperation, transparency and uncompromising quality.
Our aim is to plan production, reduce growers’ costs and increase the market value of our products.

02 OUR LAND
On the banks of the Acheloos
The history of Stratos and our region.
Ancient Stratos, described by Thucydides as “the greatest city of Acarnania”, was the first capital of the Acarnanian League. Built in a strategic position on the right bank of the Acheloos River, it reached its height in the 4th century BC. Its important monuments include the ancient theatre and the imposing Temple of Zeus Stratios, protector of the city.
The abundant waters of the Acheloos shaped the fertile Acarnanian plain known as “Stratiki”. Its distinctive microclimate and nutrient-rich soil provide ideal conditions for cultivating premium-quality citrus fruit.
